PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy electrode having excellent water repellency and excellent in adhesion with a separator.SOLUTION: A hydrogen storage alloy electrode includes a conductive support and a hydrogen storage alloy layer disposed on the conductive support. The hydrogen storage alloy layer includes a fluorine-containing polymer containing a constitutional unit based on fluoroolefin, a binder, and hydrogen storage alloy particles. The fluorine-containing polymer satisfies at least one of the following requirement 1 and requirement 2. Requirement 1: the fluorine-containing polymer has a polyoxyalkylene chain. Requirement 2: the fluorine-containing polymer has an acid value of 4 mgKOH/g or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
