PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a blue organic EL element capable of reducing an effect on emission light due to a film shape of an organic light emitting layer; an organic EL display panel; and a method for manufacturing the blue organic EL element.SOLUTION: A blue organic EL element 14B includes a first electrode 141, an organic light emitting layer 144 disposed above the first electrode 141, and a second electrode 146 disposed above the organic light emitting layer 144.
