PAPER DISCHARGE METHOD FOR SMOOTHLY DISCHARGING REAR END MARGIN CUT PIECE BY FREE FALL ON DOWNSTREAM SIDE OF CUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, when a paper sheet is cut in a cutter installed between a pair of front and rear conveyor rollers, a rear end margin cut piece from retained on an inclined surface of a blade surface of a lower blade by providing discharge means different from conventional discharge means in which the blade surface of the lower blade, on a downstream side of the cutter, being a vertical plain surface, can smoothly discharge a front end margin cut piece, while the blade surface of the lower blade, on an upstream side of the cutter, being an inclined surface, may generate problems, such as retention of the rear end margin cut piece on the incline surface and mixture to other cut pieces.;SOLUTION: A rear end margin cut piece 7 is to be retained at a passing sheet position 5, 6 without allowing being dropped to a sheet discharge passage on upstream of a cutter 4, and to be pushed out to a downstream side of the cutter by a tip of a paper sheet 8 to be supplied next.
