PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for producing a lignocellulosic biomass-derived compound, which allow a fermentation inhibitory substance to be inexpensively and effectively eliminated.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing a lignocellulosic biomass-derived compound, the method comprising the steps of: (A) generating an acid digestion product by a hydrolysis treatment in which lignocellulosic biomass is mixed and digested with acid in a hydrolysis tank; (M) vaporization-removing a fermentation inhibitor by subjecting the acid digestion product to a drying treatment in a drying treatment tank; (N) adding ammonia to the dried acid digestion product in an ammonia addition tank to further reduce the fermentation inhibitor and adjust the pH of the digestion product subjected to the drying treatment; and (B) performing a saccharification process in which a saccharified solution containing monosaccharides and/or oligosaccharides is produced from the acid digestion product after the addition of ammonia by the enzyme in a saccharification tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
