PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of sharing a key between devices using physical access restriction in order to increase security and usability for IoT devices, and an IoT network system capable of using the method of sharing the key.SOLUTION: A method of operating a hub used in an internet of things (IoT) network system which includes a controller and an IoT device includes: performing secure pairing of the hub and the first controller using a first wireless communication; receiving first information related to the IoT device from the first controller paired securely with the hub; authenticating the first controller using the first information; and performing secure pairing of the hub and the IoT device using a second wireless communication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
