PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce mass of a floating substance included in separated water when a stable liquid effluent is treated by a screw decanter type centrifugal separator.;SOLUTION: There is provided an effluent treatment method for a bentonite based stable liquid, comprising: a pH adjustment step (S1) where a pH adjuster is added to the effluent of a bentonite based stable liquid so as to adjust the pH of the stable liquid effluent to a neutral region; a coagulant addition step (S2) where an organic coagulant in which the viscosity of a 10% solution is 12 cps or lower is added to the stable liquid effluent whose pH has been adjusted; and a solid-liquid separation step (S3) where the stable liquid effluent added with the organic coagulant is introduced into a screw decanter type centrifugal separator, and the solid-liquid separation of the stable liquid effluent is performed.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
