PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent wildlife from approaching an electric wire and, even when the wildlife comes into contact with the electric wire and get electrocuted, facilitate post-processing.;SOLUTION: A wildlife frightening device 1 is installed at a periphery of an electric wire for preventing the wildlife from approaching the electric wire. The wildlife frightening device includes: a detector 200 for detecting approach of the wildlife to the periphery of the electric wire by a non-contact type sensor; a frightening unit that, when the detector 200 detects the approach of the wildlife, frightens the wildlife; and a communication device that, when the detector 200 detects the approach of the wildlife after a lapse of a prescribed time after the frightening unit starts to frighten the wildlife, transmits data for identifying a position where the wildlife is detected, to a management device 600 for managing the state of the wildlife frightening device 1.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
