PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a method for measuring acid concentration on the basis of a neutralization titration method is poor in the stability of a basic solution, such as a sodium hydroxide solution used for measurement, takes time and effort even from requirements of a lot of glass wares and is not suitable for the concentration control of an acid solution; an analytical instrument including an automatic titrator is expensive; and the development of a new method capable of more inexpensively, simply measuring acid concentration is required.;SOLUTION: The method for simply measuring acid concentration comprises: adding an acid-base indicator having an indicator range of pH 7 or less to an acid sample solution; immersing one end of glass fiber filter paper to develop the sample solution; stopping the deployment in any period of time; measuring a deployment distance L from the lower end of the glass fiber filter paper having the entire liquid phase developed at that time on the immersed side and a distance H of a region having a color exhibited by an acid-base indicator on the higher pH side of the added acid-base indicator in the development direction to calculate acid concentration using the ratio H/L.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
