PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave height measuring system requiring the precision and accuracy of a cm level in order to detect a long period wave.SOLUTION: A wave height measuring system uses PPP (Precise Point Positioning), a single precision positioning estimation method, to remove an error included in a measurement value, estimates revolution speed of a receiver (antenna) of a buoy by using a magnetic compass to directly compensate the measurement value, and thereby detects precise long period wave height through the position of the buoy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
