PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a deterioration in beam forming performance when encoding a multi-channel signal by an EVS codec.SOLUTION: An audio sound signal encoding device comprises: a conversion part for adding all of a plurality of channel signals constituting a multi-channel audio sound input signal to generate an addition signal, and for generating inter-channel difference signals of the plurality of channel signals; a first encoding part for encoding the addition signal in an encoding mode corresponding to the characteristics of the addition signal to generate first encoded data; a second encoding part for respectively encoding the difference signals in the encoding mode used for encoding the addition signal to generate second encoded data; and a multiplexing part for multiplexing the first encoded data and the second encoded data to generate multi-channel encoded data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
