PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a measurement device capable of simply and promptly acquiring data necessary for quantitatively analyzing a concentration of the element such as boron and the like with respect to the powder such as coal ash and the like or the granulated material.SOLUTION: A thermal neutron transmission measurement device includes: an outer cylinder 21a; an inner cylinder 21b concentrically arranged inside the outer cylinder 21a; and a bottom plate 21c for blocking one end of the outer cylinder 21a and one end of the inner cylinder 21b. The thermal neutron transmission measurement device further at least includes: a sample holder 21 in which an analysis object is stored; a neutron source 23 for emitting fast neutrons; a moderator 22 for converting fast neutrons into thermal neutrons; a detector 26 for detecting thermal neutrons; and a rotation mechanism 27. One of a neutron source 23 and a detector 26 is arranged facing the inner peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 21b, and the other of the neutron source and the detector is arranged facing the outer peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 21a. The neutron source 23 is surrounded by the moderator 22, and the neutron source 23 arranged facing the outer peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 21a or the detector 26 or the sample holder 26 is relatively rotated to the peripheral direction of the sample holder 21 by the rotation mechanism 27 so as to perform the measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
