PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-proof electric cable oil content reduction percentage predicting method for accurately predicting a first inspection time of a corrosion-proof electric cable.;SOLUTION: A corrosion-proof electric cable oil content reduction percentage predicting method, includes: collecting part of a corrosion-proof electric cable installed between steel towers, or a cut piece of the corrosion-proof electric cable detachably fixed to a steel tower as a trial sample, and measuring an oil content percentage in the corrosion-proof grease; making estimation formula for obtaining a decreased speed of the oil content percentage, based on the measured data; and predicting an oil content reduction percentage in the corrosion-proof grease at a time when desired year has been passed after installing the corrosion-proof electric cable, based on the estimation formula. The measurement data are associated with at least an external layer aluminium single wire diameter of the corrosion-proof electric cable, and the estimation formula is a function made by using the external layer aluminium single wire diameter to a variable.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
