PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow stress characteristics acquiring method for heat exchangers that can model nonlinear characteristics.SOLUTION: A flow stress characteristics acquiring method for heat exchangers comprises the steps of: creating an analytic model of a U-bent part; performing eigenvalue analysis of the analytic model to acquire mode information on the U-bent part and choosing a natural mode on the basis of the mode information; setting gap elements of constituent parts of the U-bent part in the analytic model and performing static analysis to reproduce the natural mode by using this analytic model; and acquiring deformation stress characteristics from the result of the static analysis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
