PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a careless driving state of a driver of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A careless driving detection system comprises a camera (2) for imaging a face of a driver of a vehicle, a facial direction variation detection unit (3) for detecting driver's facial direction variation on the basis of the image data on the face of the driver, a driving scene detection unit (9) for detecting a driving scene of the vehicle and a careless driving determination unit (11) for determining a careless driving state of the driver on the basis of the driver's facial direction variation and the driving scene of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
