The methods, systems, and circuits assess a subject's CVD risk using risk parameters including at least one HDL and inflammatory biomarker interaction parameters. The inflammatory biomarker can optionally include NMR-induced measurements of GlycA from at least one biosample of the subject. Risk parameters may be gender specific. [Selection] Figure 1
