Disclosed is a nonwoven material having a first region and a plurality of discontinuous integral second regions in the form of a three-dimensional deformed portion, the three-dimensional deformed portion from a first surface of the nonwoven material. An outwardly extending protrusion and a wide base opening adjacent to the second surface of the nonwoven material are formed. The nonwoven material includes at least two layers each formed of a plurality of fibers. The first region has a first light transmittance value and the second region has a second transmittance value.
