PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seed coating agent, a seed coating method and a coating agent coated seed in which the dust generation in the seed coating is reduced, and the detachment of iron powder coating is reduced and the aggregation and multi-grain of seeds are hard to occur, in a seeding process, a transportation process, and also in the seeding device.SOLUTION: A seed coating agent concerning the present invention contains iron powder, and a binder using sulfate and/or chloride as a main material. The seed coating agent is used for coating a seed surface with multiple coating layers, and includes a first coating agent for use in the inside coating layer among the coating layers and a second coating agent for use in an outer-most layer. The first coating agent is characterized in that a mass ratio of the binder to the iron powder is 0.5% or more and 12% or less, and the second coating agent has the mass ratio of the binder to the iron powder that is more than 12% and 45% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
