PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device capable of detecting side channel attack with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A device 1 for detecting side channel attack includes: detection means 2 for having a coil L or capacitor as an inductor arranged in proximity to an information processing device 3 such as an encryption processing circuit 3a as an object of the side channel attack and detecting changes in inductance of the coil L (inductor) of inductance or capacitance of the capacitor; and determination means (control circuit 5) which determines approaching of a probe 7 by the side channel attack or opening of LSI package on the basis of output of the detection means 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
