PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel composition which can contribute to cost saving or process shortening, and improvement in production efficiency, a composition for down hole tool, a degradable rubber member for down hole tool, a down hole tool and a winze excavation method.SOLUTION: There are provided a composition containing a degradable rubber and a decomposition accelerator, and 0.1 to 20 pts.mass of at least one kind of compounds represented by the following general formula (I) as the decomposition accelerator based on 100 pts.mass of the degradable rubber, a composition for down hole tool, a degradable rubber composition for down hole tool and a down hole tool containing the composition and a winze excavation method using the same.
