PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make smooth an interaction between a system and a user by allowing a system to repeat utterance suitable as next utterance.SOLUTION: Learning means 22 inputs a set of focus arrays and calculates and stores a depth from an (i)th focus node from a root node and, for each path series where a path from a (i+n-2)th focus node to an (i+n-1)th focus node, a probability value as a ratio of appearance frequency of the path in a database 23. Selection means 24 inputs a focus array, a focus node which is a path from an (i+n-2)th focus node to an (i+n-1)th focus node away in the database 23 at a frequency corresponding to a depth of the (ith) focus node from the root node and a probability value of the path A, and outputs a focus corresponding to the selected focus node.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
