PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restart control system of an engine, a hybrid vehicle and a restart control method of the engine, capable of reducing a load to a motor by reducing start torque necessary for the motor to supply by comparatively simple control.SOLUTION: When an engine 10 is stopped in inertia travel of a vehicle, and further when a restart request signal of the engine 10 is received, power is supplied to the engine 10 from a motor generator 31, and restart compensation control is implemented as control for temporarily switching a clutch 14 from a disconnected state to a half-connected state to keep the half-connected state in which power is transmitted to the engine 10 from a driving wheel 24 through a differential 23, a propeller shaft 22 and a clutch 14 for a predetermined set time t, and returning the clutch 14 from the half-connected state to the disconnected state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
