A method of measuring the size of a lesion from an image photographed using an imaging device such as an endoscope is disclosed. An image showing the lesion is displayed on the screen, the lesion site is confirmed with the image displayed on the screen, and then the size of the lesion site is calculated and displayed based on the designated scale. It can provide accurate information on the size of the lesion and is useful for the diagnosis and treatment of the physician.
