A UAV is provided to remove background noise from audio data collected by the UAV. A UAV comprises one or more background microphones in the proximity of one or more background noise generating components. The UAV further comprises one or more sound source collection microphones. Audio data collected by a plurality of background microphones may be used to reduce or remove interfering background noise from the audio signal detected by the sound source collection microphone. Target audio with little or no background noise may be captured or recorded.
