PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for detecting the typical pathogenic bacteria of periodontal disease bacteria efficiently, accurately, and quantitatively by real-time PCR method.SOLUTION: The present invention discloses an oligonucleotide set for detecting periodontal disease bacteria consisting of a primer pair and probe designed based on the sequence characteristic to the bacteria of a 16SrRNA gene or 23SrRNA gene of Treponema denticola, Tannerella forsythia, Porphyromonas gingivalis, Prevotella intermedia, Fusobacterium nucleatum, and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans; and a detection method of periodontal disease bacteria using the oligonucleotide set.SELECTED DRAWING: None
