PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverse system design method, an inverse system design device, and a program capable of presenting a signal with accuracy in response to a priority to a control point arranged in a control target system.SOLUTION: An inverse system design device 1 calculates an output-side basis V#of an inverse matrix G#after truncation of an inverse matrix G, a singular value matrix &Sgr;#, and an input-side basis U#by truncation singular value decomposition for every control point set corresponding to a priority of desired approximation accuracy. Matrices after truncation of the control point sets are combined to form an overall inverse matrix G. Specifically, a process starts with an initial control point set and a control point set is added recursively. In the process for every control point set, a threshold reflecting the priority of the approximation accuracy is changed, thereby forming the inverse matrix G#for obtaining the desired approximation accuracy. Upon finishing an iterative recursive process, the inverse matrix Gis formed.
