PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chemical treatment technology for wood, which requires no sealed chamber, can significantly suppress the production cost, and can efficiently impregnate a wood material and a compressed veneer with a functional chemical.;SOLUTION: A chemical treatment method of wood is provided, comprising the steps of: forcibly pressurizing a wood material at a predetermined heating temperature and a predetermined compression ratio to elastically compress 5 the wood cellular tissue in one direction to obtain an elastically compressed wood material; immersing a part of or the whole of the elastically compressed wood material under an atmospheric condition in a functional chemical to forcibly absorb 6 the functional chemical to the cellular tissue of the wood by a negative pressure derived from a capillary phenomenon and an elastic recovery force of the cellular tissue of the elastically compressed wood material, allowing the elastically compressed wood material to substantially recover an outline dimension of the wood material before compressed, so as to obtain a chemical impregnation wood material; cleaning 7 and drying 8 to obtain an impregnation dry wood material; then forcibly pressurizing the impregnation dry wood material to a predetermined compression ratio to compress 9 a the cellular tissue of the impregnation wood material in one direction to obtain a chemical impregnation compressed wood material.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
