PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, among others, a composition for dyeing hair, which is stable over time and which remains localized on the hair during application without running, while at the same time conserving dyeing properties obtained on the hair, in particular, conserving powerful, chromatic and uniform coloration between the end and the root of the same fiber and from one fiber to another.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a dye composition comprising: at least one oxidation dye precursor; at least one polycondensate of ethylene oxide and of propylene oxide having the structure (A) defined by H-(O-CH-CH)-(O-CH(CH)-CH)-(O-CH-CH)-OH, where a and a' range from 2 to 150 and b ranges from 1 to 100, and at least one non-oxyalkylenated mono- or polyglycerolated nonionic surfactant; where the weight ratio of the non-oxyalkylenated mono- or polyglycerolated nonionic surfactant to the polycondensate of formula (A) ranges from 1 to 20. The invention also relates to a dyeing process comprising mixing the composition (free of oxidizing agents) with a composition comprising an oxidizing agent and then using it. Another subject of the invention is a two-compartment device containing in a first compartment the composition of the invention free of oxidizing agents and in a second compartment a composition comprising at least one oxidizing agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
