PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remodeling method, a cut-off cover, and a cut-off plug, for remodeling an automatic water washing device using a wall-embedded unit to one using an external unit.;SOLUTION: A remodeling method according to the present invention, which is a remodeling method for an automatic washing device 2 for performing automatic washing on a urinal 1, remodels a main passage 28 to a simple passage having no opening/closing function by including: a process of removing a sealed lid 27 sealing an opening end 31a of a cylinder chamber 31 from a main body part 11 before removing a piston valve 32 from the cylinder chamber 31; a process of removing all or part of a sub passage 38 from the main body part 11 to expose a second opening hole 15; a process of fitting a cut-off cover 44 to the opening end 31a of the cylinder chamber 31 and, at a position on the deeper side relative to a first opening hole 13, encapsulating the cylinder chamber 31 by using the cut-off cover 44; and a process of fitting a cut-off plug 46 to the second opening hole 15 to encapsulate the second opening hole 15.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
