Temporary prosthetic systems and methods for connecting such temporary prosthetic systems to dental implants are disclosed. The temporary prosthesis system can include at least one dental component having a temporary coupling mechanism and a prosthesis. The physician can use the adhesive to connect the prosthesis to the dental component. Subsequently, the physician can drill a hole through the prosthesis.
