PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of preventing bruises and abrasions on shoulders by reducing the load, which is applied from the portable shrine, by using shoulder pads which do not slip during wear and maintain cushion (shock absorbing) effect because of made with the material which do not decrease the coefficient of friction because of not absorbing sweat.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for reducing the load which is applied to shoulders while carrying a portable shrine. The method includes: a shoulder pad which includes the surface (upper surface) on which the load of the portable shrine is received and undulations are provided, and the surface (under surface) which contacts to the shoulder and is in curved surface form along the shoulder; wherein the shoulder pads are inserted in the pockets provided on an underwear for Happi coats which are worn to carry a portable shrine. The present invention further relates to the shoulder pad used therein and the underwear used therein. The underwear is for portable shrines and includes both shoulder parts on which pockets are provided.
