PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract the internal space of a three-dimensional shape having holes and openings.SOLUTION: A space extraction device 100 generates an expansion shape in which the surface of each component is externally expanded for a predetermined size so as to close a hole or a gap connecting the inside with the outside of a three-dimensional shape 101. The space extraction device 100 extracts a first space set except the expansion shape of each generated component from a simulation space. The space extraction device 100 extracts a three-dimensional shape internal space by generating an expansion space in which the surface of a space in contact with the expansion shape of a component disposed inside of the three-dimensional shape in the extracted first space set is externally expanded by a predetermined size.
