PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet reinspection device, a paper sheet inspection system, and a paper sheet inspection method which enable more efficient inspection of paper sheets.SOLUTION: A paper sheet reinspection device includes; a retrieval unit 113 which takes in rejected paper sheets discharged from a paper sheet processing device 100 one by one; a conveyer unit 115 which conveys retrieved paper sheets at a second speed which is slower than a first speed; a first inspection unit 116 which inspects paper sheets being conveyed at the second speed in terms of a first set of inspection items; an assessment unit which assesses whether to reject the paper sheets or not based on inspection results; a counter unit which counts paper sheets which have been assessed not to be rejected by the assessment unit; a second inspection unit which inspects paper sheets which have been assessed to be rejected by the assessment unit in terms of a second set of inspection items which includes less items than the first set of inspection items; and an output unit which outputs the result of counting.
