PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize the station number of a terminal connected to a network relay device.SOLUTION: A station number recognition device 100 is communicably connected to a network relay device 200 through a second network 300. The network relay device 200 is communicably connected to a plurality of terminals 210, each having a station number set in advance, through a first network 400. The station number recognition device 100 generates command data which is transmittable through the first network 400 and to which response data including a terminal station number is returned when the station number is coincident with the terminal station number, for all station numbers to a maximum station number, and converts the command data for each station number generated for each station number into data transmittable through the second network, to transmit to the network relay device.
