PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taper roller bearing capable of cooling lubrication oil without increasing the number of components and the assembly man-hour, and a differential device employing the taper roller bearing.SOLUTION: A taper roller bearing includes an inner race 31, an outer race 40, a plurality of taper rollers 50 rollingly arranged in an annular space between the inner race 31 and the outer race 40, and a cage 60 holding the plurality of taper rollers 50; and is of the type in which liquid lubrication oil flows through the annular space. In the cage 60, a cage gasification promotion mechanism 70 is provided which reduces, in rotation of the bearing, the pressure of the lubrication oil to the saturation vapor pressure in which the pressure of the lubrication oil changes from that in the liquid phase to that in the gas phase.
