PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a species habitat adaptability estimation method capable of estimating habitat adaptability of species by grasping an ecosystem network condition in a wide area.SOLUTION: A species habitat adaptability estimation method comprises: a step S101 of acquiring classification of green spaces in a ground surface and green space data relating to the distribution condition; a step S102 of calculating a continuous index relating to the continuity of green spaces; a step S103 of calculating a cohesiveness index relating to the degree of cohesiveness of green spaces; a step S104 of calculating a diversity index relating to the diversity of plant species; a step S105 of calculating a mosaic index relating to the degree of adjacency of different plant species; a step S106 of selecting required index from among the continuous index, the cohesiveness index, the diversity index and the mosaic index, according to species; and a step S107 of estimating habitat adaptability of the species.
