PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aspherical tank sufficiently assuring its volume as compared with that of a spherical tank while sufficiently assuring anti-buckling characteristic, and provide a liquefaction gas carrier including the aspherical tank.SOLUTION: This invention provides an aspherical tank 2 comprising a cylindrical part 31, a top part 32 arranged above the cylindrical part 31 to be continuous with it and a bottom part 33 arranged below the cylindrical part 31 to be continuous with it. The top part 32 has a spherical shell part 35 formed by a part of a spherical body with a radius R1 and arranged at an upper end of the top part 32, and a torus portion 34 arranged to be continuous with each of above the cylindrical part 31 and below the spherical shell part 35 and formed by a part of the spherical body with a smaller radius R2 than a radius R1 and satisfying a formula of 1.0R/H11.5, where R is a radius of the cylindrical part 31 and H1 is a height of the top part 32 in its vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
