Hard bitumen composition, gussasphalt mixtures and processes for their preparation

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard asphalt composition suitable as a binder of a goose asphalt mixture, even when being heated at high temperature, prevented from flowing out from specialized transport vehicle and hardly causing troubles such as being impossible to perform casting paving, and having excellent flow resistance, and crack resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a hard asphalt composition having a penetration degree of 15 to 30 and the softening point of 58 to 68°C, that contains: 100 pts.wt. of mixture of (A) 40 to 70 pts.wt of naphthenic reduced-pressure distillation residual oil having a density of 0.990 to 1.001 g/cm, the penetration degree of 300 to 800, 120°C kinetic viscosity of 50 to 500 mm/s, and (B) 30 to 60 pts.wt. of a solvent deasphalting pitch having the penetration degree of 1 to 10, the softening point of 70 to 200°C and the content of asphaltene content of 20 to 70 mass% obtained by an extraction treatment of residual oil containing atmospheric distillation residual oil and/or reduced-pressure distillation residual oil with a light reformate as a solvent; and (C) 1 to 30 pts.wt. of natural asphalt having the density of 1.04 to 1.49 g/cmand the softening point of 70 to 200°C.
