PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the smoothness of a test when the test is performed by electrically connecting a portable electronic apparatus to be tested.SOLUTION: A mounting part 14 on which a portable telephone 12 to be tested is mounted includes a CCD camera 120 for imaging the mounted portable telephone. When the portable telephone is mounted, the mounting part images the portable telephone, collates the captured image with the reference image of a portable telephone of a model set as a test object, and determines whether the mounted portable telephone is the model to be tested or not. When it is determined that the mounted portable telephone is the model to be tested, the test processing start of the portable telephone is instructed so as to start transportation toward a test processing unit.
