PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine objectively a decay degree of compost in physical property and chemical property, and to perform composting through the decay degree determination.SOLUTION: Composting can be performed by steps for: mixing a raw material containing organic waste; fermenting the raw material, while agitating it; aging the fermented raw material; and determining the decay degree based on a decay degree determination method of compost. In determination of the decay degree, it is determined whether prescribed decay conditions in physical property and chemical property of the compost are satisfied or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
