PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately detect abnormalities of strings in a short time.SOLUTION: Abnormalities of strings can be highly accurately detected in a short time by performing: selecting a plurality of strings having an approximated power generation tendency for each string, as neighbor strings (step 2); calculating generated power of each string (step 3); sequentially selecting each string 1 as an object string and calculating a square root of an average of the sum of squares of a difference between a generated power amount of each string of the neighbor strings and a generated power amount of the object string (step 4); and comparing a ratio between the square root of an average of the sum of squares and the generated power amount of the object string to determine whether the object string is abnormal (step 5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
