PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing machine for an artificial turf and an abrasion element capable of performing an abrasion resistance test of the artificial turf by firmly attaching a spike body to a rotation part of a rotating abrasion element.SOLUTION: An abrasion element of a testing machine for an artificial turf that accelerates the abrasion by being attached to a test piece of the artificial turf is made to include a rotation part having a circular outer peripheral surface and a spike body having a projection part for projecting outward from the outer peripheral surface and is made to form a plurality of attachment parts, which is provided in a concaved shape having a flat bottom, at the outer peripheral surface of the rotation part, and the spike body is mounted in a removable manner by making a lower surface abut against the bottom of each attachment part. As compared with the case where the bottom face of the spike body is made to abut against the outer peripheral surface of the curved surface shaped rotation part, a gap between the lower surface of the spike body and the rotation part is made small, and the spike body can be firmly attached to the rotation part without looseness.
