PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a high-performance tire and a production method of the rubber composition which shows an excellent performance balance of dry grip performance (initial performance and reduction suppressing performance) and wear resistance performance and which can be easily produced, and a high-performance tire and a high-performance dry tire using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: A tread rubber composition for a high-performance tire is provided, which is obtained through a step of mixing a rubber component, a softener, a reinforcer and compounding materials other than a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization accelerator. The above step is carried out while elevating a temperature of the mixture to 100 to 130°C for duration of 5 to 15 minutes and then elevating the temperature of the mixture to 140 to 160°C for duration of 5 to 10 minutes.
