PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically perform the generation of a map for performing position detection, route search and route guide service.SOLUTION: A network data automatic generation device for automatically generating the network data of a map includes a network data generation part for generating network data by searching a route on which a traveling object is movable on the basis of the image data of the map. The network data generation part sets a point being a start point of the network data as an initial node, and determines it as the first next processing node. The network data generation part includes: a node candidate detection part for detecting a node candidate being the next point where the traveling object is able to pass from the next processing node; a traveling propriety determination part for determining whether or not the traveling object is able to travel to the node candidate; and a next processing connection node registration part for, when it is determined that the traveling object is able to travel by the traveling propriety determination part, registering the node candidate as the next processing node to be processed the next. Link data between the next processing node and the previous node are registered as network data.
