PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusion type saddle snap tap capable of connecting a saddle with a snap tap main body more fast and positively than that of the prior art snap tap using adhesive for thread connection while assuring adaptability with the prior art drill.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a resin saddle fused to a tap water main pipe and a snap tap main body having a cylindrical lower part fixed to a metallic bushing insert-molded into the saddle. The bushing has a step part around its peripheral part of an inner peripheral surface of an insertion hole, in such a manner that its lower side may have a larger diameter than its upper side diameter, into which the lower part of the snap tap main body is inserted, and at the same time an upper surface opening of the insertion hole is formed with a key groove. The snap tap main body has, at an outer peripheral surface of its lower part, an installing recess for a slip-off ring resiliently engaged with the step part of the bushing and at the same time has a whirl-stop key engaged with the key groove.
