PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expression detection system capable of easily and accurately acquiring position information of an organ of the face of an object person at a normal time.SOLUTION: The expression detection system includes: a camera capable of imaging the face of the object person; a monitor disposed at a position visible from the object person; and a control device for estimating personal information (gender and age) of the object person from a face image of the object person imaged by the camera, displaying information corresponding to the object person on the monitor on the basis of the personal information, acquiring by the camera the face image of the object person in the middle of viewing the information displayed on the monitor, and based on the face image, determining the position information of the organ in the face of the object person at a normal time, so as to store it as a standard face database.
