PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which enables a slab, which is finally cut as a terminal part of a continuous cast piece, to be transported to hot rolling equipment through a direct shipment route even when the slab has a size preventing transportation through the direct shipment route.SOLUTION: In a cast piece cutting planning method, when a first slab P1 cut as a terminal part of a cast piece cast with respect to a molten steel amount supplied from a molten steel ladle has a size preventing transportation through a direct shipment route of a plurality of transportation routes to continuous casting equipment and hot rolling equipment that is downstream equipment of the same, application to a product of one or a plurality of slabs (P2, P3) immediately before the first slab P1 cut as the terminal part is removed and one or a plurality of products which use a direct shipment route is newly applied so that a cast piece with the first slab P1 can be transported through the direct shipment route, thereby producing slabs (Pxa, Pxb, P3b, Px2) given restrictions in transportation to the direct shipment route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
