PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater capable of improving efficiency of power selling when combined with a photovoltaic power generation device.SOLUTION: A hot water storage type water heater 1 includes a heat pump unit, a hot water storage tank, a control device and the like, and it configures a solar system together with a photovoltaic power generation device 40, a distribution board 42, an HEMS controller 43 and the like. The distribution board 42 includes a function of: distributing power supplied from an electric power company 50 and the photovoltaic power generation device 40 to an electric apparatus such as the hot water storage type water heater 1; and selling power generated by the photovoltaic power generation device 40. The control device makes a correction in such a manner that an execution time zone of a boiling operation does not overlap with a time zone in which photovoltaic power generation is possible, on the basis of at least one piece of information of: electricity charge information including information regarding power selling charge and power buying charge for each time zone; meteorological information including information regarding weather and a sunshine time zone; and hot water supply information including information regarding presence/absence of hot water supply.
