PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a Ti deoxidized steel cast slab for a thin steel sheet that is difficult to cause a press crack due to a large inclusion while preventing a nozzle from clogging during continuous casting, and to provide a method for producing a thin steel sheet.SOLUTION: In the method for producing a Ti deoxidized steel cast slab, when continuously casting a Ti deoxidized steel that includes, by mass, 0.005% or less C, 0.001% or more and 0.01% or less Al, 0.01% or more and 0.4% or less Ti, 0.0004% or less Ca (including 0% Ca), an immersion nozzle that has an interior body including 3% or more and 10% or less CaO is used.
