PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a flame retardant fiber capable of reducing stain (spec stain) or tank stain (can body stain) to a fiber material and adding good flame retardancy and washing durability to the fiber material when heat treating the fiber material in a bath containing a flame retardant.;SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a flame retardant fiber including a process of heat treating a fiber material in a bath containing at least one kind of flame retardant (A) selected from a bromine-based flame retardant and a phosphorous-based flame retardant and a compound (B) which is a reaction product of acid anhydride and an organic compound having a hydroxyl group.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
