PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer pipe for pipe single phase flow capable of remarkably improving a coefficient of heat transfer under a state in which a turbulence flow is not promoted in an area where a flow speed of fluid in the pipe is slow and an increasing of pressure loss of the tube fluid is being restricted.SOLUTION: A heat transfer pipe for a single phase flow pipe is constituted by bending a corrugated pipe with a helical groove formed at an outer surface of the pipe. Then, single phase fluid is flowed in the pipe in Reynolds number 3000 or less so as to perform a heat exchanging operation with fluid out of the pipe, substance, or radiation heat. The heat transfer pipe for a single phase flow pipe has a pipe outer diameter OD ranging from 6 to 20 mm, a pipe inner diameter ID ranging from 5 to 19 mm, a pitch Pc of the groove in a pipe axis direction ranging from 15 to 25 mm, and a radius Rcoil of the bending ranging from 48 to 82 mm. In addition, it is preferable that Dc/ID is in a range of 0.051 to 0.097, where a depth of the corrugate groove is defined as Dc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
